Big Data/Hadoop Consultant - South Brussels - 6 months - Good rates
My client, a leading Company in the Benelux region, is in search of Big Data consultants to assist their team in implementing Hadoop into their department.
Applicants are required to run Big Data POC's and potentially work as a Practice Lead (depending on experience).
You should be able to configure and use the Horton Hadoop distribution of tools and associated products such as Hive, Pig, HCatalog, MapReduce / YARN,Kerberos, Knox, XA Secure and so on.
Ideally you will have hands on experience in the design, development or support of Hadoop within an implementation environment.
Relevant experience within ETL/ELT processes with MapReduce/YARN PIG and Hive would be highly beneficial.
