Role: Senior Digital Developer (Python)Location: South West
Rate: £300-£350 per day
Contract: 4 months
Job Description;
Assist and guide other team members where necessary as you design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation.
Have strong skills in Front End or Back End web developer (or both) and be ready to quickly get to work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, editors, and analysts focused on one or more products or projects.
Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users' needs.
Provide input into the design of solutions, Lead the development of new IT solutions and initiatives.
Implement APIs for internal and external use, Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment. Share knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developers.
Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms.
Key Tasks and Deliverables:
The Senior Developer be focused on providing technical coaching and mentoring for our agile teams and will need to be a very experienced developer with proven ability to coach and upskill others.

In depth Python knowledge and skills
Shows good communication skills
Demonstrates a logical analytical approach to problem solving
Demonstrates the initiative and determination to complete tasks
Coaching and mentoring expertise is essential
Knowledge/Experience/Behaviours
The applicant must also demonstrate experience in the following areas:
Elastic search skills
Experience of participation Agile software development projects
Experience or familiarity with the principles of software development methodologies and tools.
Experience of working on technical projects within a team
Full life cycle application development including
Application design
Analysis
Implementation
Software testing
Support, maintain and document software functionality and maintain standards compliance.
Evaluate and identify new tools and technologies for implementation
