Seeking a network engineer experienced with monitoring systems. Our client uses Aloha Monitoring System.
- AMS End User - Operational Adoption
- Use AMS (AlohaMon) to identify systemic alerts, analyze them to determine root cause, and engage the appropriate operational teams to fix the impairment.
- Provide feedback as a user to be considered for future enhancements
- Systems Engineering
- Defining User Stories and support their development
- User Story Acceptance Testing and Documentation
- KPI Metrics Definition and presentation
- Analyzing and document chart patterns post mortem to determine root cause for the AMS Playbook
- Refine a process to be used by XOC to explore the systemic alerts provided by AMS, to best determine root cause
- Technical support of AMS Trials
- XOC, CNOC, CAG, Eng Ops
- Identifying and defining AMS integration with other support systems
- Identifying XOC processes/MOP's that can utilize AMS
- Develop process to address/correct AMS detected topology inconsistencies
- Assist in identifying other OOM monitoring opportunities (ie: DAVIC, DTA, etc)
- Software Development
- General assistance with the SW development process
- Implementing AMS User Stories
- Knowledge of Python, Django (for web UI framework) and SPDB are required
- Project Administration/Documentation
- Management/Administrative support for the AMS Trials
- Document the AMS Playbook
- Set up Commons portal for our users to share their experiences
- Run weekly AMS Meetings
