Building on its expertise in High Performance Mixed Signal electronics, the client is driving innovation in the automotive, identification and mobile industries, and in application areas including wireless infrastructure, lighting, healthcare, industrial, consumer tech and computing. The client has operations in more than 25 countries.
The department IT Infrastructure Solutions is responsible for all Services and development for the infrastructure services within IT, including Enterprise Computing, Connectivity & Telecom and Workplaces.
The Connectivity & Telecom team is part of this team and is responsible for the solution and services for Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN) and Telephony. The services are provided by global external partners.
The Connectivity & Telecom team forms the conscience for Connectivity & Telecom. The team develops solutions in this domain which includes architecture, design, roadmap and standards. The team is also responsible for running IT improvement and innovation projects in this domain, as well as the delivery management of the operational services. There are 10 direct FTE working on this team, mostly from Eindhoven and Bangkok. The extended team is around 35 FTE across the globe.
Since January 1st, 2015 the team is globally accountable for all Telephony and Telecommunications services.
Scope of work:
The position will be leading in building the global, enterprise wide service catalogue in relation to telephony. In addition, this role will serve as day-to-day trusted advisor for the clients sites throughout the world.
Skills:
- Minimum bachelor/master level
- Proven track record (having shaped a service portfolio before is a must) > 5 years
- Prior experience in global manufacturing industry a must, in semiconductor is an asset > 5 years
- Prior experience in telco environment (supply side) is an asset > 5 years
- English business fluent
