Senior SAP Project Manager (OTC Domain)

Role purpose and responsibility:

The SAP Senior Project Manager (OTC Domain) will be responsible for planning and coordinating all activities related to the design, support of build and test and early life support activities of my clients global template programme within their domain.

Key accountabilities

Provide input into detailed project plans and work schedules for their domain

Functional Solution & Process Integration responsibility across their domain

Provide SAP business process knowledge, design and integration consulting

Work closely with the Global Process Owners and Global Process Leads to plan & schedule workshops with key business SMEs to define the global process and to identify all gaps for entities being migrated to the programme

Confirm with other Global Process Owners and Domain Workstream Leads that all design attributes are integrated across domains and end to end processes

Ensure completion of documentation of local processes outside the global process model

Plan, schedule and manage execution of design activities to specify how the required business processes may be represented in the software configuration and transfer application design and configuration knowledge to both business team leads and other team members. Encapsulated in the Blueprints.

Manage the Order to Cash Domain Workstream Sub-Team

Represent the clients Global Design team with relevant stakeholders (internal and external partners)

Champion the benefits of consistent global processes and systems - Protect the template

To be successful in this role, you must have the following:

  • 10+ years consulting/projects experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels on plan and schedules, risks and mitigations
  • Ability to motivate and influence others in a Matrix team environment; experience in managing performance efficiency of the team
  • Sound understanding of Global Process environments and the risks and issues associated with operating these environments
  • End to end project experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment

Key Skills:

  • Planning & Tracking - proven ability to successfully plan and schedule for a workstream within a large scale SAP global transformation programme
  • Global Processes - understanding of Global Process environments and risks and issues associated with operating these environments
  • Problem Solving - Proven evidence of strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
