Description
We are currently seeking a contract Senior Software Engineer to become a key member of the development team in our Multinational Software Development Centre in Dublin City.
This is a 6 month contract role with a strong view to extension.
Payments experience, those who have a focus on business logic or those who have worked on security/secure protocols will be in with an advantage.
Must have:
*5+ years' experience writing commercial C# code
*Experience in educating and mentoring other software engineers.
*Experience communicating information to customers and other business groups
*C#.Net, Winforms, WCF
*SQL
*Mono
*Testing at unit, integration and system test levels
*Embedded Database Experience (SQL Server CE/SQLite)
*Windows and Linux Scripting (Javascript/Bash)
Nice to have:
*Experience designing software in distributed systems
*Agile/Scrum
*Experience in security - appropriate for large financial systems
*Payments industry experience
*Commercial experience in at least one other language
*Commercial experience working in Windows and Linux environments
*Experience compiling Technical and End User Documentation
*Experience working with remote team members
*High commitment to being an excellent software developer
*Ability to act as a senior member in a team
*Ability to be pragmatic and with your time and your use of technology
