C, C++, matlab, 1D simulation, python, HIL, data analysis1D Simulation Engineer - Cambridgeshire
£40 - £45 per hour
6 month Contract
I am looking for a 1D simulation engineer/CFD engineer to work with a leading supplier of diesel and gas engines in the power solutions market. These engines are used in the Marine, Machine, Electric power, and industrial markets.
You will be part of a team of engineers responsible for developing our clients engine products and processes,. You will directly influence the engine design, tool improvement, and development decisions.
Key skills:
Experience of 1-D simulation tools such as GT - Power, Wave, AmeSIM.
- High level of competency in the use of data analysis tools - Minitab, Matlab etc.
- Knowledge of coding in C/C++ or Python.
- You must demonstrate knowledge of engine fundamentals such as; Combustion, Emissions, Performance, Cooling and after treatment.
- You must have knowledge of controls, HIL or Software.
- Knowledge of Software such as Design Expert, AVL Cameo or similar.
- My client would be particularly interested in anyone who has previous experience in parasitic modelling.
