My client are a global bank looking for a Python/Django Developer to join there well established team.
- Python developer for 5+ years
- Experienced on Django development (3+ years)
- Proven expertise setting up, scaling and maintaining high performance Internet services
- Experienced writing highly maintainable code and understanding all the features Django framework provides
Requirements
- Experience coding PEP 8 compliant code
- Experience with Fabric or equivalent building/deployment tools
- Good knowledge of all the Python libraries ecosystem
- Good understanding of coding design patterns and data structures
- Experience using CI systems and automated testing
- Experience creating and integrating REST and RESTful APIs
- Django ORM expert
- Confortable working with Linux CLI
- Git-fu
Desirable experience:
- Postgresql
- Django Rest framework
- Coding with messaging patterns (using RabbitMQ or equivalent)
- Sharding and optimising database access from Django and Python code
