Description
Our client is a global consortium that enables the achievement of business objectives through IT standards. Leading the development of open, vendor-neutral IT standards and certifications they collaborate with subject matter experts, forum members, and a governing board.
There is now an immediate need for a Senior Drupal 7 Developer to join our client's team. They are currently using Drupal 7 automate business workflows with full audit trails. This project divides the actual screen content from development efforts, allowing displayed content to be managed by business subject matter experts. To accomplish this, our client is extending Drupal with custom modules where necessary. They are using the Drupal API standards, Drupal recommended documentation, Drupal database interface, and Drupal Form API.
This will be a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Essential Functions and Tasks
As a Drupal Developer, your role will involve:
- Working with a remote development team on custom Drupal modules
- Replicating screens from current systems and interpret specifications into Drupal modules/codes/extensions
- Utilizing custom workflows and creating API compliant code based on existing screenshots across multiple systems
- Using the Drupal Administration Interface
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Drupal Developer, you must:
- Have experience of using Drupal API and Theming System
- Possess experience with custom module development
- Have hands-on experience with PHP programming
- Be comfortable with Drupal Administration Interface
- Have the ability to program for cross-browser compatibility
- Be able to solve issues quickly while still following proper procedure
- Have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Be available during East Coast US business hours for virtual meetings with project team members
SQL experience would be beneficial to your application.
