My client, and established worldwide brand in this sector, are continuing with their significant expansion plans and are now looking for an experienced Application Architect to join their Application Development team on an initial 4-6 month contract.Based in their European headquarters here in Birmingham (with occasional European travel) you will have a broad remit to help direct the company's architecture over a range of challenging projects. The ideal Architect will have a solid appreciation of all IT layers (Data, Application, Infrastructure etc.) but may specialise in one, more than the other.
Essential experience needed:
* Wide knowledge of a number of IT technologies with detailed knowledge in at least one enterprise architecture area.
* Must be able to demonstrate experience of building design documentation.
* Experience and understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.
* True ability to be able to convey technology to a non-technical audience, and vice-versa. Desirable experience:
* Experience with Office 365 and Sharepoint 2013 * Knowledge of TOGAF * Knowledge of SAP modules would be highly beneficial
