Description

Service Manager - Server Hosting And Capacity

Responsible for general management, operational efficiency and development of all onsite solutions and systems (consisting of solutions and applications) within IT infrastructure

Takes care of all operational service related management activities (eg reporting, cost allocation, budgeting, resourcing, operational vendor management) and works as a single point-of-contact for escalation when required.

Ensures that the services are available to (business) users according to agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) levels. In case of incidents, s/he ensures that service is prepared/recovered in an agreed timeline. Service Manager ensures that service has nominated assignment group for taking care of 2nd/3rd level support within the service. S/he consolidates service performance reports to compare actual performance/against the agreed SLAs. In addition, s/he reports service costs and is responsible that costs stay within the agreed budget.

Service Development responsibility
Based on the Enterprise Architecture roadmap, s/he is responsible for implementing planned service harmonization or other activities. Service Manager's objective is to also proactively propose improvement activities to improve the service and/or decrease the costs.
ITILv3 qualified - Minimum Foundation Level
Knowledge and experience on IT service management and service development
Ability to lead global teams
Ability to present and communicate effectively
Proven leadership and management skills
Extensive experience of server hosting and capacity management
