Role: Embedded Software/ Linux engineer

Location: Kent

Contract: 3/6 month

contract Start Date: September 2015

A well-known client has an exciting new project coming up in 2015 for a Software engineer.

The project you will be working on is a touch screen user interface that will be based around an ARM-A8 processor driving WVGA colour LCD.

The key skills required:

* C, C++

* Python

* Embedded Linux, Ubuntu

* Serial device drivers under linux

* Qt libraries, QT custom widgets

Desired skills:

* Experience of linux device tree

*Modbus RTE protocol

* Internet protocol allowing remote access TCPIP, SSH, Websockets, VNC
