Automation Engineer

Summary:

Our client is a global leader focused on the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery, and supports more productive farming through a full line of tractors, combines, hay tools, sprayers, forage equipment, tillage, implements, grain storage and protein production systems, as well as related replacement parts. Our client's products are distributed globally through 3,50 independent dealers and distributors in more than 140 countries worldwide.

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to join our client's scrum team to ensure quality of the application by planning, creating and executing manual and automated tests. This person will work closely with the application developers and subject matter experts to understand the requirements/design, participate in test planning sessions and demonstrate application functionality in sprint reviews. This person will be responsible for certifying application deployments made to controlled environments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience working as a QA Automation Engineer
  • Test case generation, acceptance criteria,
  • 2+ years hands on experience in BDD techniques and automation using Cucumber, Selenium or similar tools
  • 2+ years in building and maintaining test automation frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in an Agile environment
  • Other tools a plus: Jira, Groovy experience a plus!
