Support Analyst/WebSphere/Unix/Linux/SQL/Shell Scripting

Our client is looking for support analysts to join a great team of application support experts in a very dynamic and complex environment.

Activities of the WebSphere support analyst will include: -
-Provide 2nd line application support
-Monitor the production systems and identify/solve incidents
-Escalate issues to the vendor or send them to the delivery teams when necessary
-Formulate requests for changes
-Be involved in production acceptance testing and create/update the documentation
-Participate in multiple (international) projects

To get considered for the WebSphere support analyst you must have: -
-At least 4 years of functional as well as technical application support
-Experience with maintaining contact with users
-Experience with WebSphere Application Server
-Experience with WebSphere MQ
-Experience and knowledge Unix/Linux
-Proven experience in a technical support function: TCP/IP, Firewalls, Communication/Networking
-Proven experience in system programming: Unix/Linux, Scripting is highly advantageous
-Experience with Windows
-Experience with Oracle Databases, SQL scripts, performance tuning, load/stress testing, automatic deployment is highly advantageous

This is a fantastic contract opportunity with the likelihood of multiple extensions.
