Solutions Architect (Java) - 12 month contract
My Financial Services client are looking for a Solutions Architect who will be responsible for solutions definition, design and delivery of critical Middleware services.The role encompasses both technical solution architecture and delivery management responsibilities
Required
- Experience working with the development of XML based web services.
- Excellent understanding of Middleware service oriented architectures.
- Must have experienced in message driven architectures eg JMS, MQ.
- Must have experience in open source development and utilising frameworks or tools to delivery business challenges.
- Strong application and web server experience particularly J2EE based Servers.
- Experienced in implementing and troubleshooting performance and scalability issues primarily for open source and Java based architectures using products such as Jmeter.
- Strong experience in Continuous integration and deployment tools such as JIRA, ANT, Maven, Nexus and Jenkins.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to find solutions to business challenges. Seek out systems solutions that can be leveraged to meet business requirements. Engage the business client early and effectively building solid relationships.
- Identifying, understanding and negotiating business requirements with business and IT stakeholders based on strategic architecture principles.
