Mainframe Developer
Mainframe Developer: Mainframe Developer is urgently required for a long term contract, with a large BlueChip company paying great rates in an amazing location.

The Mainframe Developer should ideally have the following skills:
- Develop and maintain If's infrastructure related to Mainframe environments in a cost effective manner
- Overall operational monitoring when it comes to capacity or license limitations in our contracts.
- Assist all countries with CPU/MIPS related abnormalities
- Drive and follow up ongoing activities from our IT Supplier (Tieto, Volvia IT)
- Follow-up and report cost for IT infrastructure
- Defining Soft Capping limits for LPARs, Service Groups, CPU limitations for CPU usage, IMS requests, DB2 requests
The Mainframe Developer should ideally have the following qualities and experience:
- Understanding and knowledge of Mainframe technology, infrastructure and application development
- Structured and analytical, and able to create an overview of complex situations
- Tools like CA-Examine and Strobe experience
- Excellent communication-, cooperation- and negotiation skills
- A team player and a good colleague
- Able to work under pressure and prioritize
- Very good at building a network with stakeholders
- Active in learning new things and taking on new challenges
- Enthusiastic, innovative and self-driven personality
- Fluent in English, both written and oral
