Description
We are currently seeking an interim School Governance Lead for a London Borough. You will be responsible for all functions associated with school governance, from supporting governors through the appointment process for head teachers, to ensuring schools are effectively serviced in terms of training needs.
You will need to ensure that good relationships are maintained across approximately 90 schools. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to turn their hand to answering generic questions in the absence of other advisors. This is a small but effective unit that needs to maintain a steady state.
The right interim will have an excellent understanding of the recent agenda and regulations. You must have an education background and be able to quickly gain credibility with governors and head teachers.
This role will suit someone available 3 days a week. The assignment will run through to the end of March 2015. If this sounds of interest, please forward an updated CV.
