To contribute to various stages of development, integration and qualification of projection sub-systems by specializing in the modelling of optical sub-systems and control algorithms.
Job Description
- Contributes to the modelling of lenses, building and verification of lens models and the control loop design of optical systems.
- Participates in feasibility studies relating to system optimization and to specific system control loops.
- Designs and specifies optical models and system control models and is responsible for establishing the required technical product documentation.
- Specifies, designs and makes tests for model qualification, testing tools and materials needed; supervises and carries out the optical tests and adapts the models accordingly.
- Ensures the modularity and serviceability of the models and control loops.
- Drives the integration of the optical sub-system models and control models into products, analyses the problems, and drives solutions.
- Analyze (sub)system performance and control relating to the product performance, securing the sub-system qualification towards system specifications.
Education
MSc or PhD degree in mathematics (with physics knowledge) or physics.
Experience
- as from 2 years industrial Experience in the field of high-tech system development. Broad knowledge of modelling and simulation and system control algorithms. Proven experience in programming (Matlab) and data analysis.
