An excellent opportunity has become available with a leading Global Investment Bank who are looking for an experienced Integration Data Modelling Lead
Impact on the Business
Drive, develop and document specific domains for the group business information model
Lead integration of the Business Data Architecture with other workstreams of the Group Data Management Programme.
Ensure architecture delivery plans are appropriate across all lines of business and relevant functions
Oversee the preparation and maintenance architectural delivery plans
Track, control, monitor and deliver to these plans
Identify and manage RAIDs for specific business information model domain and escalate as appropriate
Customers / Stakeholders
Lead the review, sign-off and adoption strategy for business information model data domains in close collaboration with the Global Businesses and Global functions Business Data Architects
Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support execution of business information model at pace and with minimum conflict
Support the identification of stakeholder goals related to business information management and effectively manage their expectations, addressing any misalignment
Leadership & Teamwork
Lead integration of the business data architecture with other workstreams of the Group Data Management Programme
Build 'trusted advisor' relationships with internal customers at a regional and global level to understand their objectives
Understand and manage the programme client/stakeholders' requirements and expectations to ensure customer satisfaction
Accept overall accountability for the programme deliverables as required
Take responsibility for progress to ensure programme components are delivered on time and within budget and targeted business results/outcomes are realised
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Lead implementation of the business information models in the data dictionary and other related tools
Lead direct adoption of the business data architecture through engagement of global and group wide transformation programmes
Lead the adoption of the group wide golden source strategy in close collaboration with IT
Experience / Education
Extensive experience working in development of business analysis and business data requirements across different sectors of Financial Services industry
Extensive experience of working in development of business data and information models
Strong project management delivery record
Experience working and integrating business data models with business capabilities and IT capabilities
Experience in both top down and bottom up data analysis
Solid understanding and experience of integrating business data architectures with IT data architecture
Knowledge of business and data architecture frameworks
Knowledge of physical data analysis and profiling
Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities.
Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined problems
Strong communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations) with all level of stakeholders
Very good conflict resolution skills
Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor's degree / equivalent experience and the role holder will have professional qualifications in Project/Programme Management e.g. Project Management Professional (PMP).
Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable
