We are building a product that helps people find the best professionals in their area, from lawyers to home contractors to tutors.We have an incredible team, a proven business model, a clear roadmap to success, and are well-funded with impressive backers. We are looking for a remote freelance copywriter to join our team. We have ambitious goals and need an ambitious person with the skill, focus, and ability to commit to consistent high-quality work.
We want to set up a contract that includes a guaranteed amount of work each week, and can discuss workload and compensation during the interview process.
The Role
- Support the content needs of our core product
- Research and write short business descriptions
- Adhere to a style guide and content spec
- Work with the Content Manager on marketing and SEO efforts as needed
Responsibilities
- Ensure content meets quality guidelines and editorial standards
- Meet individual production goals and deadlines
- Work with marketing team to optimize all content for SEO best practices
- Balance a high standard of quality with aggressive launch goals

Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, or related field
- Relevant professional experience (job or internship)
