Description
The Blood Management Company is a global leader engaged in the design, manufacture and worldwide sales and marketing of blood management solutions. Ensures the investigation and resolution of customer support problems, responds to problems in accordance with established policies and procedures, and assists in the implementation and development of staff.
Principal Responsibilities:
Investigate and troubleshoot customer issues with our software or hardware medical devices. Candidate must be able to use various technologies such as SQL (MySQL or Oracle) or be able to understand development code to resolve customer issues.
Assists with software and hardware installation at customer sites or performs on- site support, as assigned.
Documents all support calls in CustomerWise system in timely and accurate manner.
Receives and resolves routine customer support calls involving system software, hardware and/or operating system problems and maintenance and general inquiries.
Candidate must have great customer service communication skills; both verbal and written.
Candidate must be able to work remotely and be available for on-call rotation. Equipment will be provided by company.
Candidate Education:
Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Candidate Experience:
Required 3 - 5 year experience
Required knowledge or training in SQL and Oracle, C or Java, UNIX or Windows
