SAP Basis Consultant - English Speaking - Duisburg, Germany. Start: 6th March 2017. Salary Indication: €70,000 per annum + 10% bonus + benefits. End Client.Our End Client in Duisburg, Germany is looking to hire an SAP Basis Consultant to be responsible for leading the delivery of key aspects of the running projects within the area of SAP Basis, driving effective and efficient solutions within SAP.
You will be responsible for bringing deep expertise in the areas of:
* SAP Landscape Architecture
* Sizing of the SAP systems
* SAP Upgrades and Migrations
* Management System landscape, client concept, client creation
* Accountable of transportation landscape and
* Basis Project Planning: alignment on different projects and deliverable
* Works within infrastructure team for:
* Basis configuration,
* RfCs configuration and connectivity Checks: Load Balancer & Dispatcher,
* Installation and management System landscape,
* Configuration of transportation landscape,
* Project cut-over activities in SAP Basis SAP Transports,.
Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities:
* SAP Landscape and Solution manager process
* Accountable for the system preparation and settings, Basis configuration
* Responsible for SAP life cycle proposing continuous improvement and more efficient system processes.
* Capable to align different priorities and competing resource request for the different projects.
* Consistent release management Using Solution manager Charm Process
* Sap note implementation and Upgrade support (SPDD, SPAU, …)
* Responsible for transports preparation and execution
* Cut over Plan for SAP Basis activities
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
* SAP Basis experience proven for 5 years
* Strong business and technical acumen including understanding of technology components within product life cycle
* Capable of working in Team on international level also within virtual teams
* Ability to extract and analyse information, good communication skill
* Solution manager experience especially in the area of CHARM but capable to deal with a broader scope within solution manager
* Work with or within a SAP COCE (Competence Centre) organization on a global base
* Cross cultural projects experience
* SAP template project within a Europe and Asia countries
* Proven knowledge in SAP Basis area
* SAP Basis certification desirable
* Very good English speaker
