Description
Our client is a payments solution provider and is looking for a payments expert to manage the interchange-related operations. The Payments Interchange Operations Manager will work at your client for at least 6 months.
The Interchange Operations Manager:
- will be responsible for managing the interchange-related implementations, communications and new tier developments for the whole of Europe
- will be the technical expert on interchange-related issues.
- will enable the correct execution in terms of implementation and communication of the interchange strategy.
- Ensure correct implementation of interchange rates in Europe, managing the process from submission of new rates to validation of new rates
- Coordinate new interchange tier developments for Europe, driving the process from inception to implementation
- Manage the publications of interchange bulletins, MOL postings and tier specifications
- Manage the publication of the Europe Region Interchange Manual twice a year
- Coordinate cost studies
- Address interchange related questions
- Provide Interchange training
The Interchange Operations Manager will be able to demonstrate:
- Project management skills. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects concurrently
- Strong knowledge of the payments business and of the interchange issues

- Ability to work independently
- Resourcefulness. Out of the box thinking. Creativity to identify new approaches and processes

- Strong IT skills (Excel, Access)
- Fluency in English
