Description
Description- This position has broad accountability for the delivery of project services within the product tower.
- The IS coordinator's primary responsibility is support of IS Service Owners in the execution of small projects, BAU activities and service requests in the IS organization.
- Single point of contact for IS to an IS Service Owner
- Gathers accurate estimates from technical teams and delivers to IS Service Owner
- Provides input to IS PM's documentation and artifacts.
- Performs IS resource estimates and secure those resources on behalf of the IS Service Owner.
- Submits purchase requests for infrastructure components on behalf of the IS Service Owner.
- Assists with communications for initiatives.
- Provide status reports to Tower Leaders.
- Provides IS status reporting input to the IS Leadership team.
- Builds strong relationships across service centers within the IS organization.
- Builds strong relationships with the various Technology teams engaged on a daily basis.
- Understands IS products and service offerings and is able to connect client with key SME's.
- Develops strong knowledge of the IS organization and of key SME's in each team.
- Client relationship management, to build a platform for delivery with a variety of Service Owners.
- Team will be working on Network Security related projects. Firewalls, IPS Switches, etc.
- Strong communication skills.
- Provides information to others both internal and external to the organization; represents the organization to customers and other external sources.
- Interpersonal skills to support team building: Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members
- Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations through recognition of dependencies, driving partnership and commitment to the program.
- Project and resource management, the ability to build and manage a portfolio of small projects requests and delivers on these.
- Operational or project management infrastructure experience.
- Familiarity with core project management principles.
- 3-5 PM experience required.
