Description
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails freelancer for an initial 3 month period (with the possibility of this being extended). The position is remote, starting immediately, with a flexible 3-4 days per week required. You will primarily be working on a custom client portal.You should have the usual rails skillset. Any additional skills, especially in frontend implementation, would be a bonus!

We primarily work around Ruby/Rails but we prefer people who are happy to work with different programming languages and learn new things if required, and who can bring extra skills to our team beyond the usual.
Examples of the kind of day-to-day challenges we work on as a team are:
- Building ecommerce experiences scratch - From branding, through to building the storefront and technology out, handling infrastructure and logistics and supporting future growth.
- Building custom applications - From entire web apps through to building out APIs for other devices and handling security.
- Maintaining open source projects - We maintain several open source plugins and gems and encourage open sourcing of components we build.
