My Client, a technology giant in Sweden, require a contract Data Engineer to optimise processes and guide business strategy. This is an urgent requirement and the successful Data Engineer will start as soon as possible. This is a 3 month rolling contract that will be extended for a long period of time.
The Big Data Engineer's primary focus will be on establishing optimal solutions in line with this Blue Chip Company's strategic direction. Then you will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and monitoring your Data driven improvements within the current IT architecture. You will regularly present your suggestions for optimisation to key stakeholders within the business.
The ideal Data Engineer will have at least 3 years Big Data experience and machine learning implementation is essential. This is a highly technical role within a collaboration team environment.

Hadoop, Java, Python, Scala, AWS, MapReduce, HDFS, Spark, Pig, Hive, Impala.
