Your New role :-
The FIDO Delivery Engineer (individual role) of will be primarily responsible for all technical aspects of FIDO Project Delivery, from POC, Partner Training Support, Implementation and Project Management. At the same time, it has to be responsible for building strong relationships for both existing and potential customers.
Defining new market and growth strategies aligned with the overarching vision/mission of External Business (B2B) of our client is important role for this position. In this role the individual must be adept at developing robust business cases, and advocating, presenting and gaining senior level support for new business proposals with senior level executives both inside and outside of our client.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Obtaining and securing FIDO customers by understanding both customer business models and service offerings.
- Identify potential partnering opportunities and prioritize based on alignment with product/service strategy and business, organizational, and technical fit with our client.
- Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close deals in an aggressive time frame.
- Support partner education and training initiatives.
- Provide technical account management for partnerships (existing and new), balancing our clients interests with partners business needs. Drive relationship building at multiple levels between partner and our client.
- Develop and execute go to market strategies with strategic partners, focusing on aggressive marketing to build the sales funnel and co-selling into high priority opportunities.
- Resolve partner pain points and implement performance improvement programs in a collaborative manner.
- Work with product management to define product and service offerings that meet partners needs.
- Support other solutions as required.
- Position based in UK, with approximately 20-30% travel requirement
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
EDUCATION:
- Degree in Computer Engineering/ Software Development preferred but not essential.
- IT Technical Certification focused on Software, Databases, Networking, IT Security.
- Project Management Certification (Prince 2)
Business
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Presentation skills to large audiences.
- Willing to be flexible and deal with a fast changing dynamic work environment.
- Advanced troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to train both end customers and partners
Technical
- Java EE based web application development experience
- Android, iOS based device application development experience
- HTTP, RESTFul API, SSL/TLS, PKI experience
- RDBMS(MySQL, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL), Cache(Redis, Infinispan) experience
- Play Framework, Nginx, Tomcat, Linux Admin(Ubuntu/RHEL) experience
- Authentication platform experience.
- Customer facing experience at least 5 years with extensive on site experience.
- Senior technical role
- Working for a large VAR - SI.
- Web Application operation (Linux/Unix OS, Web Server, Web Application Server, RDBMS) and distribution
Desirable Skills :-
- Windows 10 development experience.
- White box cryptography.
