D3.js / JavaScript / Data Visualisation / Finance / Contract / LondonMy client a well respected Hedge Fund based in West London and is looking for an experienced D3 data visualisation developer to join their ever growing technical team. They require a candidate with the experience and knowledge of working in a demanding and fast paced environment. Successful candidates will have a recent proven track record of delivering with D3 within a finance organisation.
The role will be to working on a Rich Internet Application development, typically involving interactive and real-time data visualization tasks linked to their proprietary quantitative analytics infrastructure. The job involves D3.js HTML5 and CSS development on a daily basis and working within a well-established team.
Successful candidates will also have excellent presentation, communication skills and be able to work directly with the business while facing off to key stakeholders in a front office environment
Essential technical skill set required:
D3.js (or just D3 for Data-Driven Documents)
JavaScript
HTML5
CSS
Protovis is advantageous
They're offering great environment, business exposure and the use of new exciting technologies. This will be an initial 3 month rolling contract and they will look to increase this to a 6 month rolling contract should you deliver successfully.
