Azule, an IT Consulting and Recruiting firm located in Eagan, MN, is searching for an experienced JD Edwards developer who is looking for a full time, salaried position. This opportunity is in Erlanger, KY, near Cincinnati, OH.
Job Description:
- Develops JDE applications globally
- Supervises activities of consultants and mentoring junior level JDE Programmer Analysts
- Assists Business Solutions Analysts on complex design work
- Reports on key deliverables, identifies project interdependencies and risk, creates and implements IT standards, processes and controls
- Acts as a development project manager when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. Preferred areas of study include IT, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or another related area.
- At least 8 years of JD Edwards ERP experience
- Experience with JDE application development work
- Expert development experience in four or more modules of JDE ERP with good knowledge of other modules
- Expert knowledge of coding JDE application elements including: online applications, business functions (including C++) business services, projects reports, PowerForms, BI Publisher - Imbedded, Business Rules, Batch Applications (UBEs) Java and JDeveloper, Service Oriented Architecture concepts, and Real Time Events
- Expert knowledge of key integration concepts and capabilities to and from JDE
- Expert knowledge of the JDE relational database, Universal Table Browser and other reporting capabilities to and from JDE
- Experience with international environments
- Expert ability to code JDE applications from specifications for highly complex Forms, Reports, Integrations, Conversions and Enhancements
- Above average documentation skills, which are required for all phases of the development life cycle
- Ability to design and execute complicated unit test plans
- Work occasional weekends or off hours during critical development phases
- Create comprehensive status reports with input from developers and consultants
- Ability to trouble shoot complex JDE application issues and identify and execute resolution
- Outstanding communication skills with all levels of the organization, whether IT or Business
- Communication by phone for extended periods of time.
