Help to drive the Systems Engineering and Design of Network.
Work on Configuration Management (NMS) of Network for Wireless RAN, Core Network and Ethernet layer.
May be involved in multiple projects and have responsibility for one or more of those projects.
As a Senior Engineer, it is expected that this role will play a key technical leadership role working closely with product owner to manage and enhance applications.
Should be able to perform in-depth analysis and design of new features and technologies as well as mentor junior engineers.
Coordinates end to end SDLC of the project by working closely with vendor and internal teams.
This position is responsible for gathering, analysing, and creating comprehensive products, documenting requirements, including validation and traceability, for existing and new applications.
This role provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
This role assesses system impacts, provides gap and process analysis as well as cost/benefit analysis for system or product/service related initiatives.
Acts as a liaison between the user community and internal IT resources.
Requires competency in customer focus, change and innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building and influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.

SKILLS:

Skills Required

System Design: Designs Configuration Management solution for the suite of products under Configuration management
Feasibility Analysis: Support internal analysis by documenting options and impacts via research and definition of technical requirements. Prepares Design document assessing the business, product, technical and deployment requirements in detail.
Support Validation: Prepare UAT documents defining the compliance mapping to technical and business requirements in detail.
SME Operational support: Support the Performance Management, Capacity Planning, troubleshooting and Operational teams for Systems.
Strong Analytical and Communication skills.
Strong foundation in OSI model of Telecommunications Networks
Strong knowledge and experience working on GSM, UMTS and LTE Technologies
Strong knowledge of ITIL Configuration Management domain (FCAPS)
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
Strong knowledge of RDBMS SQL and data analysis skills.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
3-4 years of experience in ITIL Configuration Management domain (FCAPS)
5+ years of relevant Telecommunications experience
