DataStax Consultant (Apache Cassandra, Architect/Designer/Developer)
UST Global is a large IT Services Company with an impressive and expanding blue chip clientele, growing from 8,000 to 16,000+ employees in the last 4 years.
We are currently seeking an experienced DataStax Consultant to work with our client (large Bank) in Sydney, Australia, and require the following abilities:
1. At least 18 months of production experience with Cassandra.
2. Able to explain the Cassandra architecture.
3. Must have worked with a cluster with multiple sites.
4. Must have worked with datastax enterprise for at least a year.
5. Cassandra housekeeping and administering skills.
6. Must understand Cassandra Datamodelling and be able to architect Cassandra table solutions.
7. Must disclose the size of database or number of records managed.
8. Must have Cassandra 1.2+ experience or DSE 4.5 or above.
Nice to have:
1. Python Scripting
2. Previous experience at datastax or commits to Apache Cassandra.
3. GitHub profile with work around Cassandra
4. Support/Devops background would be a huge plus.
