For one of the European Institutions based in Brussels, we are looking for a Java Developer
(Please note that the function is not open to remote work)
Tasks:
- Architecture and design of information systems
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting (JUnit, JIRA)
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
- Outstanding knowledge of Java/J2EE, Eclipse Hibernate, Spring, Java IDE
- Deep knowledge of SOA and WebServices, SOAP, EA, OOP
- Very good knowledge of Servlets, JSF, JDBC
- Experience with CVS/SVN
- Solid knowledge of Relational DBMS
- Experience in Apache Tomcat, SQL Server, Oracle
- Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of IT Security and business process analysis (UML)
- Knowledge of IBM SOA Solution Designing
- Experience with software architecture review and design
- Knowledge of Rational Software Architecture (RSA)
