Role: Communications Officer
Duration: 4 Months (probably extension)
Rate: £250
Location: Warwick
Purpose:
To provide a comprehensive communications service for Capital Delivery. To provide strategic advice on and deliver internal communications plans. To liaise with the client Communications team on external communications strategies to support project delivery.
Experience:
Broad Communications experience including internal and external communications
Demonstrate successful capability in:
- Effective communication skills
- Proven influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across businesses and deal with complex issues
- Track record of developing working relationships quickly and effectively
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong working appreciation of the role of internal communications.
Key tasks:
- Work closely with key business stakeholders to develop a robust communications plan.
- Develop and manage key internal communications campaigns focussed on key messaging.
- Work closely with the appropriate teams to keep up to date with new and existing construction projects.
- Ensure consistent application of the brand through implementation of the branding guidelines..
- Develop appropriate tools such as newsletter, Intranet site, team brief etc to provide managers with tools to keep their teams appropriately informed.
- Assist the client Communications team with the development of communications and community relations strategies for all new construction projects.
- Report on developments and share best practice across Capital Delivery, Electricity Transmission Owner (ETO) and the client Communications Team.
- Support the planning, delivery and logistics of internal events.
