Interim Chief Technology Officer
Location: Malta

Role Context: Our Client has an urquent requirement for an Interim CTO, we are looking for someone who is a strong leader, very much hands on, who will be able to take on the day-to-day leadership of the team, focus on improving/stabilising the current delivery team and drive some process improvement.
Candidate qualities will include:
Essential:
- Minimum experience of working in a technology-focussed financial services organisation with a strong preference for payments experience.
- Record of working with and improving bespoke technology, as well as integrating with off the shelf modules.
- Evidence of delivering projects to enhance scalability, reliability and flexibility.
- Experience of technology integrations - planning and execution.
- Articulate and passionate, able to enlighten and enthuse colleagues & shareholders.
- Must be available at short notice and willing to commit to living/working in Malta Monday - Friday over the entire 6 month duration.
Leadership:
- Must have the Gravitas to influence at board level.
- Being able to deal with various stakeholders and align different 'groups'.
- Details oriented, but able to form the big picture.
- Evidence of strong leadership - facing off to senior stakeholders, but not afraid to pitch in with the team.
