Liquid Media, an Oklahoma City media development company seeks an experienced, flexible U.S.-based WordPress web developer working on a per project basis. Candidates will be well versed in front-end development with an eye for great design. Liquid Media provides a highly creative environment and provides the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.Responsibilities:
- Building complete, polished front-end WordPress web solutions using industry standards and best practices.
- Creating WordPress websites from .PSD files and instruction.
- Editing, testing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
- Upgrading WordPress core, themes and plugins.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress content-management system core.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JAVA, JQUERY, MYSQL and responsive website techniques.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Elegant Themes Divi 2.7+.
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Familiar with the principles of web accessibility.
- Knowledge of basic server administration.
- Expert in WordPress administration and security.
