Junior Motion Graphics Designer - Video - Part Time (3 days)
I'm currently recruiting for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer, with experience of building videos and visuals from scratch. This is a part time contract role working 3 days per week (Monday/Tuesday/
Wednesday), based in Maidenhead (Berkshire).
This role is a great opportunity for someone to join a growing team dedicated to creating support based video content for customers through social media channels such as YouTube. As a Junior Motion Graphics Designer you'll work closely with the Video Producer, taking on briefs to create motion graphic based videos in alignment with brand guidelines. You'll be helping our video audience solve their device problems by translating the brief into intuitive, informative and snappy little videos.
Responsibilities
- Reacting to a brief set by the Video Producer
- Storyboarding projects
- Designing great motion graphics around a voiceover, script or given topic
- Creating titles using After Effects/Illustrator
- Creating new ways of conveying sometimes complex information through simple ways using the medium of video
- Creating rough and final edits using other people's footage or audio
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Own Mac/PC with Creative Suite installed
- Demonstrable proficiency in After Effects/Illustrator
- Understanding of appropriate Export settings for digital video content
- Ability to explain complex or technical processes in simple visual ways
- Experience of working within strict brand guidelines
- Design or creative agency experience
- Experience designing visuals for a recognisable brand
- Experience working with internal stakeholders
