Description
Seeking a part time hardware technician to build Servers for distribution in a warehouse setting. This role involves cleaning, testing, prepping, maintaining, analyze, troubleshoot, repair, configure and ship server based computer systems, software and peripherals and other hardware devices.
This job will be 40 hours a week Monday to Friday OR combine to a 4 day work week. (option to work other days as others take FTO) There is a probability of this maturing into a full time role.
Responsibilities:
-Clean, test and prep all server based computer equipment and hardware devices.
-Build, burn and configure all server based company solutions (DQR, DQV, SQR and Code Runner) as required by orders generated from the company's order processing system.
-Work with Product Development, L2 and Field Service Engineers on daily process changes and requirement changes.
-Responsible for all items associated with any order presented to group until returned to warehouse.
-Work with SOP, Logistics, and warehouse supervisor to insure an efficient process to maintain company SLA's.
-Review procedures to maximize the efficiency within the Fulfillment Center
-Prioritize daily workloads to assist in picking and shipping on time deliveries
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs-75 lbs
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-1 to 2 years experience building hardware or a certification
-Windows 7 Software Imaging
