DATA ANALYST - TRADE SUPPORT
CHESTER, CHESHIRE
12 MONTH CONTRACT
Bank of America is currently seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to work as part of the Trade Control function in the offices based on Chester Business Park.
The successful candidate will perform a Trade Control function supporting the Global Rates and Currencies business. We are looking for a candidate that has an excellent analytical mind set and is looking to learn the functions of a Trade Support.
Key skills for a Data Analyst:
- Excellent organisational skills - ability to prioritise workload
- Strong communication skills - ability to create and build relationships
- Proven analytical skills - ability to interpret data
- Strong numerical mind set and a good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Logical approach to problem solving.
- Competent in databases, Excel (macros and formulas) and Outlook
- Flexibility to work outside of core hours if and when required
Responsibilities of a Data Analyst:
Work closely with the Trading Desk to support the Rates and Currencies business and perform Trade Control responsibilities such as:
- Trade Validation - timely and accurate management of trade capture process
- Provide support to assigned trading desks
- On going Trade maintenance - manage trade life cycle events and perform trade amendments
- Investigate and resolve breaks
- Production of daily reports - distribute daily reports to the Trading Desk
- Resolve queries - investigate and issues raised to the team, liaising with Front Office, Back Office and/or client as necessary
