Job Title: Lead Tester

Our Client, one of the world's foremost IT Consultants, is looking to recruit a Lead Tester to join their Global Infrastructure Services department in London.
The successful candidate will have primary experience of Selenium and BDD - Behaviour Driven Development Testing, fitment and fulfilment for a small sized project with a medium complexity.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they meet the following criteria:
Required Technical Expertise:
· Expert in Selenium - Web driver spanning more than 2 implementation
· Perform the client facing role of a DevQA/SDET/BAQA i.e. a QA with development skills or Business Analyst skills to be an integral part of Agile teams
· Should be expert in advising customer on the best mode approach
· Expert in developing and implementing automation framework around Continuous Integration using Behaviour Driven Development methodology
· Ability to write and review feature/Test Story files (JBehave, Cucumber) for Behaviour Driven Development and create corresponding automated scripts in programming languages like Java/Selenium, Ruby
· Expert and ability to recommend/advice below tools (at least two) -
o UrbanCode, Maven, JBehave, Cucumber, Java/Selenium, Ruby, Eclipse, Jenkins/Bamboo, TestLink, SVN/GIT, ANT etc.
o Perfecto, Blazemeter, BrowserStack
· Work independently and follow through thoroughly; "get things done" attitude
· Strong background in object oriented programming and algorithms
· Strong coding, problem solving and debugging skills
· Strong programming skills in Core Java
· Passionate about technology and software quality
· Excellent communication and cross-group collaboration skills
Technologies: -
Core Java
He should have development or automation scripting background in his previous projects.
Should be conversant with core Java and be able to seamlessly think through the Testing need of a given business scenarios
The candidate should be able to grasp any new automation framework.
He should be able to code for a given problem.
Testing
Should be able to work with open source testing automation tools - Selenium preferably
Should be able to identify Test cases and Test Scenarios based on a given test scenario.
Should be able to write test cases and test plans.
Should be able to understand customer expectation and implement it in framework or develop scripts satisfying the business needs
Identifying Test Scenario's thinking out of the box.
Tools Expertise
Need to have a good knowledge on open source or commercial tools used in development and testing projects involving
Maven, JBehave, Cucumber, Java/Selenium, Ruby, Eclipse, Jenkins/Bamboo, TestLink, SVN/GIT, ANT etc.
