Description
We are looking for a passionate, self motivated, and friendly frontend engineer who can help our current development team create awesome web apps.
Responsibilities
- Build highly usable, fast and responsive user interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Write well-documented and maintainable JavaScript
- Collaborate with design team to implement pixel perfect designs
- Recommend and be part of the conversation when adding interactivity to improve user experience (i.e. animations, transitions, rollovers, responsive)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional frontend development experience
- Ability to write very clean, cross platform/browser, and reusable HTML, CSS (SASS), and JavaScript
- Experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, etc
- jQuery is useful to you, but you don’t go overboard with it
- Flexbox is fun and you want to use it
- Comfortable with the CLI and Git
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to generate high quality code
- Comfortable talking and meeting with clients/stakeholders when needed
- You’re highly self-motivated and hungry to learn
- You’re able to collaborate with a team
- Great communicator and positive attitude
Bonus Points
- A working knowledge of some server-side development stack (preferably Ruby on Rails or Python)
- Can do some damage with SVG’s and animation
- Knowledge with build tools like Gulp/Grunt
- Experience with deployments and other server related tasks
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks and client testing automation
- Awesome code on GitHub
- StackOverflow contributions
