Description
Our direct client has an opening for Project Manager in Austin, TX. This is an initial 6 month contract and remote work is acceptable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years' experience working on large scale implementations of IT enterprise projects
- One year experience with utilities/energy clients
- Experience with Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) is required..*Candidates without AMI experience will NOT be considered*
- Experience managing Service Level Agreements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage project team including internal staff team of 20 to 40 persons.
- Perform the relevant project management processes - ie initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and closeout, and the supporting processes eg scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication, stakeholder management. Interface and communicate with project team, management and stakeholders.
- Manage project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project.
- Develop objectives, phasing and content of the project to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and time scales.
