Description
We are currently seeking HP UFT expert Engineer to join our team. We develop, design and deliver high quality business applications, software solutions and services to meet business technology requirements. The offices are newly designed, specifically to accommodate Scrum development and are based in Limerick. It is an open and highly collaborative environment based on LEAN principles with a strong emphasis on continuous integration, automated testing and continuous delivery. Scrum teams are encouraged to be self-organising and autonomous.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test automation scripts using HP UFT and HP ALM within a J&J automation framework.
- Setup, Support and extend Continuous Integration Automation environment
- Champion automation across the agile teams
Requirements:
- 5-10 years' experience working with HP UFT and HP ALM coding in VBScript.
- Work with automation of HP ALM artefacts creation and follow Good Development Practices (GxP)
- Experience delivering high quality automated tests following defined Coding Standards.
- Support, Create and Leverage latest technologies and tools within the automation environment.
- Experience developing with languages such as: Python, Java, VBScript, C++ or C#
- Development using TDD/BDD techniques creating Unit tests, Functional, SIT, Regression testing.
- Solid understanding of OOP. Solving problems efficiently and quickly.
- Exposure to Continuous Integration, Agile methodology, Development within Frameworks
- Exposure to tools such as: Jenkins, HP UFT, Jira, Git, Amazon VPCx (Cloud services), DB Management (SQL based), Selenium
- Experience working with multiple OS: Windows, Linux, iOS. Able to execute UNIX command line utilities.
Strengths:

Preferred qualifications:
- BSc. or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Solid understanding of information management, data modelling, system integration, development methodologies (including unit testing) and ERP SAP.
