Ruby on Rails Developer ( Ruby on Rails , PostgreSQL ) required urgently for a contract role for a client of mine, a modern technology company based in Central London. My client develops advanced training software, and are vastly undergoing a period of growth.
The role & responsibilities of Ruby on Rails Developer ( Ruby on Rails , PostgreSQL ):
- 3 month contract
- Work on exciting Greenfield projects
- Providing line support on the Rails applications through the life-cycle of the project
- Providing on-going support of existing Rails development
- Keep up to date with the latest changes in the Rails world
- Able to work effectively with commercial staff, technical strategy and architecture staff
- Identify opportunities to add value to solution delivery whenever possible
For the role of Ruby on Rails Developer ( Ruby on Rails , PostgreSQL ) you must have:
- 2+ years' experience of hands-on development experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Keeping up to date with the latest plans, developments and changes in the Rails world.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL technology
- Familiar with mini-tests
- Experience with Integration with other systems.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Must be willing to work in a team environment effectively but being an individual contributor at the same time.

Day Rate - £400 - £550 DOE
