Application Developer
Main tasks/activities:
*Gather business requirements to help drive improvements to both our in-house and our off-the-shelf products.
*Identify technical and process improvements across the landscape
*Implement both business driven and IT driven change
*Liaise with external software vendors
*Diagnose and resolve Level 3 support issues
*Manage and improve the application landscape
*Maintain relationships with our key user groups
Position requirements:
*Higher education - Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field.
*At least 2 years of experience in IT industry with strong technical background, ideally with Financial system or trading system focus
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
*Good knowledge of SQL (preferably Oracle), of ETL - preferably Informatica PowerCenter, and of Linux
*Knowledge of Java EE is a plus.
*Able to work under pressure in an agile environment
*Proven ability to tackle problems independently
*Proven ability to work with international teams
*Willingness to take on more responsibility as your experience grows
Any other important information:
*Any trading system - FIS Apex Collateral or FIS AvantGard Treasury experience is a clear advantage
*Experience in working with modern Business Intelligence tools (SAP BO, MS-BI, ...)
*ITIL incident and change management processes
*Agile development
*Test automation
