Description
We are looking for one "Java Developer" to start ASAP a 6-9 months contract (initial) in Luxembourg (EN-speaking environment), the perspective is multiple-years.
Our client is an international company, a world-famous and a great reference.
The Java-Developer will have good knowledge of Java 7/8, Spring tcServer, Tomcat 7/8, Oracle database 11g/12c. Desired is good knowledge with Continuous integration (Hudson/Jenkins) + Continuous delivery (Docker, Puppet).
Job description
Tasks & Responsibilities
In particular the following services will be provided:
- Development and maintenance of software applications;
- Development and integration of technological components and integration with other applications;
- Prototyping and implementation of user requirements;
- Provide assistance with writing of technical documentation including the establishment of deployment procedures
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Java Developer
- Java 7/8, tcServer on Tomcat 8, Oracle database 11g/12c.
- Desired: Continuous integration ( Hudson/Jenkins ) + Continuous delivery (Docker, Puppet).
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
- Proven knowledge of developing web;
- Fluent language skills in English are mandatory and French language skills are desired;
- Documentation.

- Oracle 11g (12c) database using Oracle workspace manager, Oracle data guard
- Server deployment in two sites (primary, backup)

- Windows Software Client
- Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)
