Description
.NET Developer proficient in .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL, XML, IIS 7 or above, WCF/WPF with strong commercial experience following Agile development methodologies is urgently required to join a major European software house based in Brussels, Belgium.In the position, you will be working within Agile development methodologies (notably Scrum) developing new applications, including design development and test using .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript XML, XSD and SQL. The role will provide exposure to RESTful web services and interfacing relational databases whilst using continuos integration and test driven development.
Previous commercial experience using AngularJS or other JavaScript frameworks is highly desired.
Technical and Soft Skills Requirements
. 2-4 years experience in .NET/ASP.NET
. Creation of user interfaces
. Exposure to interfacing relational databases
. Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 or above
. WCF/WPF
. IIS 7 or above
. SQL, XML/XSD
. Fluent in French or Dutch or both
. Good English communication and literacy skills
. Proactive and organised personality
This is a 12 month contract paying a rate of Euro 400 per day working within the European parliamentary capital of Brussels, Belgium.
