Project Manager, Qualified Accountant, Finance Change, Oracle GL, Finance/Insurance.
My client is looking to roll out a successful Oracle GL implementation to another part of its business and needs to hire a strong PM who is also a qualified accountant with proven finance change project experience. You should have a solid appreciation of Oracle GL and associated modules as well as good functional/technical appreciation of the General Ledger. A key part of this role will be gathering requirements from the finance users and translating into the technical implementation as well as advising on how to set up reporting requirements. This is not an IT PM role although there are obviously technical elements and your major stakeholders will be the finance users who will need to be guided on the use of the new functionality of the accounting system.
You will have gained relevant experience in the Insurance business and have an appreciation of the Actuarial function and ideally proven experience of delivering to Actuary stakeholders.
This is a London hire but will require 2 to 3 days a week to be spent in the midlands and possibly other parts of Europe. They require someone to start ASAP and is likely to be a long contract (6 months initially).
