Credit Analyst - Dublin City Centre

Immediate opportunity to provide financial support in a multinational network company for an experienced Credit Analyst, on a 6-month contract, which will be based in their Dublin City Centre offices.

The successful candidate will take control of reviewing applications from the sales teams for credit, in aid of clients they are considering doing business with. The person will also be responsible for liaising with the Sales team to obtain credit terms for customers and potential candidates.

What does this role involve?

  • Answerable to sales rep inquires related to credit limits.
  • Assessing credit inquiries such as, granting credit, accounts receivable aging analysis, cash receipt forecasting, collections and other special projects.
  • Managing credit limits to WW credit policy standards.
  • Formulation and reporting and data analysis.
  • Cater to each accounts' specific credit needs and credit risk factors.
  • Liaise with the sales organization on credit approval and cash collection activity.
  • Provide training to the finance staff within the company.
  • Creating and building relationships and excellent customer moral.
  • Deliver suggestions and proposals on policy changes.
  • Report on daily performance of outsourcer on credit management.
  • Continue to support the Customer Master.

What are the key qualifications for this role?

  • 2+ years' experience in a credit risk management role.
  • 4 years' overall experience within the finical sector.
  • Degree qualified.
  • Excellent understanding of management knowledge, such as, credit analysis, credit control, Accounts receivable etc.
  • Previously worked within a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills within negotiation and public speaking.
  • The ability to use your own initiative.
  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com is an advantage.
  • Experience working with outsourced services team.
  • Previous experience with Oracle is a plus.
