PABX Support Technician
Our client Global IT System integrator are currently looking for PABX Network support consultant to join their customer team based in Italy. It would be initial 4 months contract with possible extension. Rates are highly competitive.

Job Description:
The PBX and Network Technician(s) will provide support to the management of the FAO's Voice system, specifically the MX-One PBX including the management of voice and data network cabling system.
In particular the support will include:
Proactive activities
Management of the Ericsson MX-One PABX system, including system configuration, backups, minor upgrades, log management;
Daily monitoring of the PBX system to ensure the smooth running of the service;
Management of disaster recovery in the event of a major hardware or software failure;
Reactive activities
Configuration of user features on the MX-One PABX, including management of extensions, voice-mail, issuance of pin codes, defining categories, group pick up, etc..;
Troubleshooting and problem resolution of incidents reported through the IT Service Desk system concerning PABX, calls or desktop telephone.
Configuration of Voice Over IP links to remote offices using SIP and H.323 protocols;
Management of Trunk lines with external Telecommunications providers;
Installation of new telephones, support to telephone and PC moves.
Activation of switch ports in Floor Wiring Concentrators.
Incidents and Requests will be managed through the FAO IT Service Desk system (LANDesk).
