Tasks
- Gathering and documenting existing client network and device information into a workbook that will be leveraged to develop the migration plan.
- Support FW & NW engineering in the development of the Engineering Work Order (EWO) & Firewall Changes.
- Entry Level experience with network engineering and architecture skills.
- Ability to support a team of network engineers and client accounts in the network transformation effort.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation of network environments.
- Respond to requests for technical information from Lead Engineers.
Required
- Formal network education (CCNA desired, HP Networking Technology equivalent certification or higher education) or at least many years experience in network engineering and documentation.
- Knowledge of networking hardware, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
- Professional attention to detail and with sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of IP, including TCP, UDP, NATing, OSPF, and BGP.
